Amy Nikolaisen, Professional Auctioneer and Realtor for the Can-Do team heads-up the operation by co-owning and managing the auction and real estate business. Amy grew up on a farm and ranch near Watertown, SD. She was actively involved in showing and selling registered cattle and farming on the family farm throughout her youth. After graduating with a bachelor's degree with an emphasis in marketing in South Dakota, she married her husband, Tom and continued working in marketing, insurance and finally in real estate. After moving to North Dakota, she received her real estate training and license and eventually obtained her professional auctioneer's training and license from Continental Auctioneer's School in Mankato, MN. She is a member of the ND, SD, and MN State Auctioneer's Associations as well as the National Auctioneer's Association. Amy is also a member of the National Association of Realtors and the Grand Forks Board of Realtors. She is actively involved in her community namely sitting on the Towner County Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors. Amy resides with her husband, Tom and family in Cando, ND.

Tom Nikolaisen, Attorney-At-Law provides closing services, legal advice and farming background for the Can-Do Auction team. Tom grew up on the family farm near Egeland, ND. He received his undergraduate education at North Dakota State University with a degree in Ag Education and Ag Extension. Tom was a Sales Manager for Hubbard Feeds Inc., Mankato, MN for fifteen years before moving back to North Dakota. He then received his Juris Doctor from the University of North Dakota. Tom now practices on Main Street, Cando, ND as a partner of Bulie-Nikolaisen Law and is a co-owner of Can-Do Auction & Real Estate. Tom resides with his wife, Amy and family in Cando, ND and continues to be actively involved in the family farming operation in the Cando area.

Alan Hornbacher, Auctioneer & Auction Associate, Anamoose, ND - Alan has been an active professional auctioneer since 1975. He has owned and/or managed livestock auction markets in Minot, ND, Turtle Lake, ND and Devils Lake, ND and also has auctioned farm and ranch equipment over the years. At various times throughout his life, Alan has farmed and ranched at Anamoose, ND, Hope, ND and White Earth, ND. He served his country in the Marine Corp. In Viet Nam, he received a "Meritorious Mast for outstanding service to the people of South Viet Nam and her fellow marines" award. Alan enjoys many outdoor activities, playing poker, men's quartets and southern gospel music.

Kenneth Bulie, Attorney-At-Law,CPA, Insurance Agent, Realtor, Broker, working out of Cando, Devils Lake, Fargo & Grand Forks, ND. Ken graduated from Egeland, ND high school. He received an Associate Degree from Lake Region State College, a Bachelor Degree from Mayville State University, and a law degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law. A part owner of Can-Do Insurance, Auction and Real Estate since 1986, Ken has 34 years experience in the insurance business and has been a real estate broker since 2007. Ken is also a Certified Estate Planner and has extensive experience in tax law and preparation. History, especially American and Presidential history, is his hobby, and he is an avid collector of coins and memorabilia. Ken and his wife, Deb reside in Cando and Grand Forks, ND.

Tom McKinnon, Associate Broker & Realtor, Fargo, ND - Tom has spent the last 20 years in the Fargo-Moorhead area as a broker in residential, commercial and farmland sales in both ND and MN. Tom spent a number of years as a RE/MAX agent where he attained their highest sales honors in the Hall of Fame and Circle of Legends Awards. He is a member of the NAR, NDAR, Fargo-Moohread Association of Realtors and the Minnesota Association of Realtors. Tom also holds real estate designations of CRS, BRB, CRP, ABR and GRI. Tom and his wife, Sherry reside in Fargo, ND.

Wayne Trottier, Auction Associate & Auctioneer, Northwood, ND - Wayne was born and raised on a small dairy farm in Pembina County, near Cavalier, ND. He served his country for 2 years in the United States Army, then graduated from NDSU with a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science. Wayne then served as the Ward County Extension Agent, a Territory Manager for Gold Label Feeds, West Fargo, ND and also eleven years as a bank loan officer for the Aneta Bank in Aneta, ND. Wayne graduated from Reisch Auction School in 1969 and has been part of Heinze/Trottier Auction Service since 1981. He has been actively involved in farm, real estate, household, livestock, charity and fundraiser auctions throughout the years. Wayne is currently serving as District 19 Representative in North Dakota's House. Wayne and Gladys, his wife of 47 years, reside in Northwood, ND and are proud grandparents of Samantha and Lane.

Jordan Gunufson, Auction Associate & Auctioneer, McIntosh, MN - Jordan grew up on a farm near Fertile, MN
and has stayed actively involved in agriculture. He graduated from Fertile-Beltrami High School. Following graduation, Jordan attended Northland College in Thief River Falls, MN, where he received a certificate in Entrepreneurship. He continued his education by attending Continental Auctioneer's School in Mankato, MN where he became a certified Professional Auctioneer, Real Estate Auctioneer, and Personal Property Appraiser. Jordan also is a professional salesperson for a local John Deere dealership. He enjoys golfing, fishing, and other outdoor activities. Jordan resides with his wife, Kelsi and family in McIntosh, MN. |
